Hello and welcome!

I have always been interested in listening to others stories, which is one of the many reasons why I decided to obtain my Master's in Social Work from USC. My clinical background includes working as a medical social worker in hospitals and as an individual, couples and group therapist at substance abuse treatment centers. I additionally participated in the Post Graduate Fellowship Program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Wright Institute, Los Angeles. My approach is largely influenced by psychodynamic and attachment theories, taking a deeper look at patterns through exploring internal dynamics—the passions, conflicts, desires, and anxieties that influence your life as a result of experiences and relationships throughout your life.

In practice I work with a various range of individuals, keeping in mind that each person is unique with their own set of experiences and values that will be meaningful to the therapeutic relationship. While my current practice is eclectic in nature, I continue to enjoy working with individuals processing different forms of trauma, ranging from womens health issues, such as reproductive trauma, to developmental and complex trauma. I take great care in providing ample space in order to process the complexities  of the human condition that arise, allowing your voice and experience to be seen and heard. Your story deserves to be told.

Starting therapy can be overwhelming, which is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation session to understand your needs and to see if we would be a good fit. I believe that a trusting and open therapeutic relationship is essential for change.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your fee and do you offer sliding scale rates?

I offer a sliding scale fee, which will be determined prior to our first meeting and is part of an ongoing conversation that works for each party. I understand that finances can be a major deterrent in seeking therapy, so when in doubt don't hesitate to reach out and lets talk about the fee!

What should I expect in my first session?

Our first session will involve us getting to know each other better, providing a space for you to elaborate on what it is that you would like to work on in therapy and setting goals for treatment. I will give you information about the process of therapy, welcoming any questions that may arise for you. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and for us to begin to build a trusting relationship.

Do you accept insurance?

While I am currently unable to bill insurance directly, I can provide you with a monthly statement to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I am here to help you navigate the complexities being an out of network provider.

where are you located?

What is your cancellation policy?

We all have busy lives and I understand that things come up! I kindly ask you cancel 24 hours in advance, otherwise I will have to charge you for the session.
