Clinical Experience
I have always been interested in listening to others stories, which is one of the many reasons why I decided to obtain my Master's in Social Work from USC. I began my clinical career as a medical social worker at UCLA and Providence St Johns in Santa Monica where I worked in the Emergency Department and Oncology Unit providing psychosocial care. Hungry for more in depth training and experience, I participated in the Post Graduate Fellowship Program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Wright Institute, Los Angeles. I began my private practice in 2019 while working in conjunction as an individual, couples and group therapist at substance abuse and eating disorder treatment centers. I have additionally had the pleasure of offering clinical supervision to associate therapists on their journey to licensure, assisting with complex cases at an outpatient eating disorder treatment center.
